Well, well, well. There's just more and more surprises everyday.

I've found Fawkes again. Or rather, he's found me. It's a pleasure to know that he's still around, even after all this time. Everything about the world can change, but there will always be some things that remain constant.

	Fawkes is a phoenix. I can hardly call him my phoenix, since no such creature could really ever belong to a mere human, but I suppose you could say he used to be my companion. He was with me for a great many years, up until I died. I never thought to look for him after I came back. I was quite delighted to discover him waiting for me. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I suppose that's true, though I suspect he was actually just bored. Sadly, my life does seem to be full of interesting and suspence-filled adventures. On of two sons...and a daughter, I have an older brother James and a younger sister Lily. You seem to be taking the name thing better than the last one who I happened to be named after.

I oddly enough ended up following a bit in your footsteps. I got the post as the Defense Professor at Hogwarts when I was about twenty-two and moved right on up to Head of Slytherin, Deputy Headmaster, and then Headmaster. I'm unfortunantly the last Headmaster Hogwarts ever had. The Board of Governers made me close the doors but a few years before I passed away. There is also the Potter family curse...well maybe it isn't a curse. I have no idea when it started but my son Xavier looks like my clone, I look like dad's clone but I don't wear glasses, and Dad always told me how everyone always said how he looked just like his father.

Ah, you've spoken to Severus then? You'll have to forgive him. He can be rather inept, socially, unless he's putting some effort into it.

My congratulations and condolences on your post as Headmaster. Judging by my own experiences, it must have been very difficult for you to close the school. I would have been heartbroken.

As for the "Potter curse", it is true that your father always looked remarkably like your grandfather, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that was unfortunate. Neither of them was hideously malformed in any obvious way that I noticed.
